The “Contribution” selection is to help support the publication, web site, podcast, or other projects, most of which don’t have any advertising, to help them thrive and stay online. If you want to specify a specific use for your contribution, you can say so in Comments. Otherwise it will be applied according to my priorities.

A $10 minimum is set due to credit card (or, worse, Paypal) fees — less than that and too much goes to them.
